Samsung has once again beaten the competition in releasing a new security patch to its devices. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is now receiving an update that brings the June 2023 security patch.
The update is rolling out to the unlocked Z Fold 4 in the USA but should soon make its way to other markets (and to carrier variants of the device in the US). And while Samsung has been a tad slower than usual with this month's security patch, we will likely see more Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S23 series, getting the June update in the next few days.
With Android 14 and One UI 6 on the horizon (but not expected this month), it should come as no surprise that this update doesn't bring any new features or enhancements to the Z Fold 4. As for the June security patch, Samsung hasn't detailed what security fixes are included, but expect that to change later this week.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4's June update for unlocked units in the USA comes with firmware version F936U1UES2CWE1. You can download it over the air from the phone's Settings » Software update menu or upgrade to the new firmware using files available in our archive and a Windows PC.
