As years have passed, cash or cards, which were the primary sources of payment, have an alternative in the form of digital payments. In shops, malls, and almost everywhere, you will find the option to pay via a digital solution, such as Google Wallet. And according to Google, the Google Wallet services are now expanding to 5 more countries across the globe.
The expansion includes several countries in the Balkans. The names of the countries are Albania, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, and Montenegro. Since the Google Wallet app is now available in these countries, users residing here can download the app on their Android devices, and if their devices support NFC, they can use the app to tap and pay in stores that offer the facility. You can install it on your Galaxy smartphone.
Check the Google Wallet support page to know which banks are compatible
However, do note that Google Wallet support varies, more so in terms of banks or credit card providers than in countries. For example, as noted by 9to5Google, in North Macedonia, Google Wallet is supported only by NLB Bank for the time being. The same is the case in Albania, where only ProCredit Bank Albania is supported, and other banks do not support Google Wallet.
Well, Google gave thought to it and created a handy support page, which you can check out and understand which banks and providers are supported in each country. This will help you decide whether Google Wallet is the right app for you or not.
