Samsung unveils art work for Bespoke Refrigerator ads

In an official newsroom blog, Samsung Electronics announced that it has teamed up with upcycling artists Kyu-Han Lee and Eun-Ha Kim to use advertisement props for artwork for the Bespoke Refrigerator. The artwork consists of advertisement props such as filming sets and costumes and showcases the idea of Bespoke Refrigerators, i.e., sustainable daily life.

Artist Kyu-Han Lee, who specializes in making furniture with materials used in daily life, created a set of tables and chairs, all of them simply using the satin sage green panels of the Bespoke refrigerator. He also made use of the temporary walls of the filming set.

On the other hand, artist Kim Eun-ha, who specializes in creating art by recycling old clothes, made desserts and various food ingredients, such as cakes and donuts, using the costumes used in the commercial shoot. Samsung Bespoke Refrigerators are known for their energy-saving features. It can help save up to 22% more power consumption, and additional power saving is possible using the SmartThings AI saving mode.

As per the announcement, the artworks created by these two master artists for the Bespoke Refrigerators can be seen on Samsung's Instagram page from June 20th. The vice president of Samsung Electronics Korea, Seongwook Kim, said, “Since energy saving is important due to the nature of refrigerators that are turned on 24 hours a day, we presented a special work of upcycling art that contains the philosophy of power-saving home appliances of Bespoke refrigerators.”
