Samsung and most fans know a new high-end tablet series is just around the corner. As the company is gearing up to uncover the Galaxy Tab S9 next month, it is now trying to put the Galaxy Tab S8 and S8+ in the hands of more customers through discounts.

Through the latest limited-time deals, the Galaxy Tab S8 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs less than the 128GB model. The 256GB variant is now available for $679, whereas the 128GB base model retains the $699 price.

Samsung also slashed the price of the Galaxy Tab S8+ in a similar fashion. You can now buy the 256GB model for a lower price than the 128GB variant, i.e., $879 rather than $899.

These limited-time discounts are available for the Wi-Fi-only Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S8+, without carrier strings attached. They're valid at Samsung's online shop in the USA. If you're in another region, you might want to check the local Samsung e-shop for similar deals.

Even if Samsung should unveil the Galaxy Tab S9 series next month, the ongoing Tab S8 series is still a powerful solution. Just keep in mind that the base model has a TFT LCD screen while the Plus variant has AMOLED, but rumors have it that both the Tab S9 and Tab S9+ should boast superior AMOLED technology.
