Earlier today, Samsung released the July 2023 security update to the Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy A52 5G. Alongside that update, the South Korean company also released the new security update to the Galaxy A52s 5G in more countries. Some countries are getting a slightly newer firmware version than others.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A52s 5G comes with firmware version A528BXXS4EWG1 in most Asian and European countries. In some Asian countries, including India and Sri Lanka, the new security update comes with firmware version A528BXXS4EWG2. The update includes the July 2023 security patch that fixes over 90 security flaws found in the previous version of the software.
If you have a Galaxy A52s 5G, you should now check for the new update. To check for the update, head over to the Settings app on your phone and then navigate to the Software updates section. Now, tap on Download and install, and it should do the trick if the update is available in your country. Alternatively, you can download the appropriate firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
