If you're a YouTube Premium subscriber, whether from your own pocket or Samsung's, chances are that YouTube Music is your favorite music streaming app on your Galaxy device. And if you're an avid music listener, you might be aware that the “Liked Music” playlist in the YouTube Music mobile app has a limit of 5,000 songs. Or “had” is the better word since YouTube appears to have quietly increased that ceiling.
As spotted by a Reddit user, the new limit for the Liked Music playlist now exceeded 5,000 songs. Another user confirmed that the upper limit now sits at 10,000 entries. It's nowhere close to Spotify's unlimited playlist, but it certainly is a step in the right direction.

One issue with YouTube Music's Liked playlist lingers
Even though the YouTube Music cap limit for liked songs has doubled, one issue that ties in with this ceiling remains. Namely, once the playlist is full at 10,000 entries, songs that the user liked previously will begin to disappear from the playlist to make room for new likes. (via Android Police)
Interestingly enough, the songs that vanish from the “Liked Music” playlist upon reaching the upper limit and adding new songs are not “unliked.” They are, however, hidden in the playlist.
An unexpected side effect of this is that users who have previously liked more than 5,000 songs are now seeing their Liked Music playlist repopulated with songs YouTube previously hid. So, don't be surprised if your Liked Music playlist has jumped from 5,000 entries to anywhere between 5,000 and 10,000 entries overnight.
