Samsung and the Minecraft community have crossed paths again. Samsung Electronics Iberia announced a new event set in the Minecraft universe on a server created by influencer @Regortread. The server's game world, i.e., Planeta Flex 5, is shaped like the Galaxy Z Fold 5. Needless to say, the latter is Samsung's newest Z Fold model, announced on July 26 in South Korea.
The Minecraft event was relatively short and kicked off on August 9 for just one day. Some of the event's highlights can be viewed on Samsung Spain's TikTok account.
During the event, Minecraft players could join the Planeta Flex 5 server and participate in games. They also had a chance at winning the real Galaxy Z Fold 5, the Galaxy Z Flip 5, and the Galaxy Tab S9.

Not the first Samsung x Minecraft event, probably not the last
It feels like the Planeta Flex 5 event came out of nowhere, and it's a shame that it was as short-lived as it was. But don't fret. Fortunately, this isn't the first time Samsung and the world of Minecraft come together, and it probably won't be the last.
Earlier this year, again in partnership with @Regortread, Samsung launched Diamond Planet 23 in the Minecraft world and created fun events revolving around the Galaxy S23 series. Chances are that the upcoming Galaxy S24 will get its own Minecraft server, too.
And another friendly reminder, you can now play Minecraft on your Samsung Galaxy Chromebook. Mojang Studios announced an early access version of Minecraft for Chromebook in March, but the stable version is now available for purchase from the Play Store on Chromebook. This version is based on Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.
