Samsung has released an update to the Always On Display app. It is the app that enables A0D customizations on Galaxy smartphones and tablets with OLED screens. The updated version of the app brings some new features to the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and its cover screen.
According to the changelog of the newest version (8.3.30.4) of the Always On Display app, when you use the informative or graphics styles for the AoD on the cover screen, the clock style won't change even while roaming. Earlier, a bug prevented that from happening, and Samsung appears to have fixed it. The update also improves memory usage during certain actions on the Galaxy Z Flip 5's cover screen. This should improve the fluidity and battery life of the smartphone in the sleep state.
Samsung has also released a minor update (2.2.04.66) to the Good Lock app, and it fixes a few bugs within the app. Both the updated apps (Always On Display and Good Lock) are available on the Galaxy Store, and you can download them on your Galaxy phone.
The Galaxy Z Flip 5 has a huge 3.4-inch OLED cover screen that can display notifications and widgets. It also lets you use the camera in an easier way. You can even type using the full QWERTY keyboard to reply to messages. You can use this trick to use any app or game on the phone's cover screen.
