Samsung unveiled its cheapest wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds FE, earlier today. They bring most of the features that people love about Galaxy Buds at a lower price point. They feature ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), a compact form factor, and long battery life. Here is how much they cost and when you can buy them.
Galaxy Buds FE price, release date
The Galaxy Buds FE are priced at $99 in the US. They come in black and white colors, though the charging case will only be available in white. These wireless earbuds will be available in select countries starting October 10, 2023, and the company will announce their pricing and availability for other markets later.
Samsung's new wireless earbuds will come with a USB Type-C charging cable, three pairs of ear tips, and a pair of wing tips in the box.
Galaxy Buds FE features
The Galaxy Buds FE feature a single-driver audio setup, along with three microphones on each side. The earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity as well as AAC, SBC, and SSC codecs. They can automatically switch between Galaxy phones, tablets, and laptops, depending on which device is being actively used. The earbuds feature ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) and customizable Ambient Mode.
They can last up to 8.5 hours on a single charge and up to 30 hours with the charging case when ANC is turned off. With ANC turned on, the Galaxy Buds FE last up to 6 hours on a single charge and up to 21 hours with the charging case. The case, which lacks wireless charging, can be charged using its USB Type-C port.
