Samsung's The Wall is a phenomenal display technology powerful enough to enable virtual production and replace green screens for stunning-looking shows such as The Mandalorian and Avatar. Now, Samsung has found another way to showcase The Wall by turning it into a work of digital art.
In collaboration with Dutch-American audiovisual artist 0010×0010, Samsung will demonstrate The Wall at the Museum of Contemporary Arts (MOCA) in Bangkok, Thailand, later this month. In anticipation of the event, the company unveiled the teaser video below.
The digital art showcase themed “Algorithmic Organisms” will begin on October 17, 2023. Samsung says the exhibit “seeks to redefine the boundaries of modern art.”

The Wall is blurring the line between digital and physical realities
Later this month, Samsung and 0010×0010 will transform three-dimensional art pieces to be displayed on millions of pixels on The Wall's high-definition displays. The showcase will illustrate how advanced display technologies can inspire new forms of artistic expression.
On a technical level, The Wall offers the most advanced display technologies, including Ultra Chroma, which produces vibrant and natural colors; Quantum HDR, which utilizes LED HDR, HDR10+, and support for Multi-link HDR to render optimum peak brightness and contrast in every scene; and Black Seal technology, the latter of which delivers pure black levels for incredible detail and contrast.
The Wall modular screen is powered by the Quantum Flex AI Processor, which boasts powerful upscaling technology for optimal 8K resolution in any size.
