Last month, Samsung surprised everyone by releasing the One UI 6.0 beta update to the Galaxy A34. The company hasn't released One UI beta updates to such mid-range phones in the past. Well, Samsung has now released a new One UI 6.0 beta update that brings plenty of bug fixes and performance improvements.
Galaxy A34 gets One UI 6.0 Beta 2 update in India
The One UI 6.0 Beta 2 update for the Galaxy A34 comes with firmware version A346EXX4ZWJ2 in India. It is a 983.59MB update (via @SamsungSWUpdate), so it would be easier to download it on a Wi-Fi network. The new software update also brings the October 2023 security patch to the smartphone. Some of the bug fixes include improved quick panel screen brightness behavior, a fix for Samsung Wallet disappearing from the home screen, force-closing UI when pressing the on-screen home button for a long time, and problems with the PhonePe app.
If you have already enrolled your Galaxy A34 in the One UI 6.0 Beta Program, you can check for the new beta update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. Newer One UI 6.0 beta updates might be released sooner, and Samsung could release 3 or 4 more beta updates before releasing the stable One UI 6.0 update in the coming months.
Samsung has also released the second One UI 6.0 beta update to the Galaxy A53 in India. The company is expected to start the rollout of the stable Android 14 (One UI 6.0) update to the Galaxy S23 before the end of this month. Most other eligible Galaxy phones could get the stable Android 14 update before the end of this year.
