Samsung has been tinkering with several One UI 6.0 beta firmware on the Galaxy S23 series. Over the course of the past two months, the company rolled out new builds for beta testers to try out. Just a few days ago, the company released the seventh One UI 6.0 beta update for the S23 series, bringing with it a bunch of bug fixes. Samsung is now closer than ever to releasing the first public build based on Android 14.
If the launch of the seventh beta update isn't enough to make you think of an upcoming stable One UI 6.0 release for the Galaxy S23 series, then perhaps these new findings will do the trick. New One UI 6.0 stable builds have been spotted on Samsung's internal test server in Korea, India, Europe, and others (via @tarunvats33).
The stable test build is identified by firmware version “BWJG.” This is not a test firmware destined to hit the Galaxy S23 series through the beta program. It's a test build for the stable update channel, which could mean that it will soon roll out to Galaxy S23 users worldwide.
However, a new beta build was also spotted, which could mean that Samsung is readying an eight One UI 6.0 beta firmware for the Galaxy S23 series.

One UI 6.0 is the Galaxy S23's first big update of four
The Galaxy S23 lineup was announced at the beginning of the year with One UI 5.1 on board and a promise that the series will receive four big Android OS upgrades over the years. Needless to say, Android 14-based One UI 6.0 is the first of four. And it's shaping up to be a great release, at that.
Even though Samsung's new update appears to be going against the One UI/one-handed design philosophy in some areas, particularly the new Quick Toggle panel, One UI 6.0 brings tons of new and interesting changes.
New Camera widgets give easy access to various shooting modes, there's a new screen ON-OFF animation, a new typeface called One UI Sans, redesigned emojis for Samsung Keyboard, new Weather widgets and Weather app changes, better Gallery tools for photo and video editing, and a lot more. We'll keep you up to speed as soon as we find out more about the next One UI 6.0 release for the Galaxy S23 series, whether it will be a beta one or a stable launch.
