New Android 14 One UI 6.0 beta updates for the Galaxy S23 series have been coming at an increasingly frequent pace in the last few days, and today another one has been released. The eighth major One UI 6.0 beta update is rolling out to the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra, and this update is a special one.
That's because, for the first time since Samsung started the One UI 6.0 beta program for the Galaxy S23 lineup, a beta update has arrived with a changelog that doesn't mention any specific bug fixes. This is one of many recent signs that our wait for the final Android 14 and One UI 6.0 update for Samsung's latest non-folding flagships is coming to an end.

Of course, Samsung hasn't officially confirmed anything, so we will have to proceed with a little skepticism. Even if this is the last beta update, it will take a few days for Samsung to wrap everything up and roll out the finished/stable version, and then another few days or weeks for the stable update to reach every Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra owner globally.
The new beta update comes with a firmware version ending in ZWJ1 and is rolling out in Germany, the UK, and India. Other markets where the beta program is available, like Korea and the USA, will likely get this update shortly. To download it, open the Settings app on your phone, select Software update, and tap Download and install.
