With the ongoing 2023 Major League Baseball American League Championship Series getting red hot, Baseball fans are also enjoying the fun experience that Samsung has made available at Minute Maid Park during the ongoing 2023 Major League Baseball. In an official blog, Samsung revealed that it has installed smart LED signage that has caught the attention of the fans at Minute Maid Park.
Back in March 2023, Samsung and the Houston Astros held a ‘Technology Showcase' at Minute Maid Park to unveil the newly renovated stadium with the company's smart LED signage. This was done by Samsung and the Houston Astros to elevate the viewing experience for fans attending sports events.
The main electronic smart LED from Samsung at the center is approximately 639 square meters
The Minute Maid Park was opened in 2000 in Houston, Texas, USA, and underwent a huge makeover last year. The dome stadium now has a retractable roof, which can accommodate 41,000 spectators. As its official partner, Samsung installed an innovative display called smart LED signage to give fans a more immersive viewing experience.
The renovation saw the revamp of the main scoreboard, left-field scoreboard, and ribbon board in Minute Maid Park with Samsung LED screens. The main electronic display at the center of the stadium is 6,875 square feet, giving a perfect view to the fans even from difficult angles.
Marcel Braithwaite, Houston Astros Executive Director of Business Operations, added, “Samsung never stops innovating across all products and services. We decided to partner with the Houston Astros because they are similar to the Houston Astros, who never stop taking on challenges to improve the spectator experience.”
