After Microsoft announced the ability to run Android apps on computers running the Windows 11 operating system, Google announced that it is bringing Android games to Windows through the Play Games PC store. Earlier, the store was in beta, but it is now getting more features and gaming titles.
You can now play 3,000 Android games on your Galaxy Book laptop running Windows
Google has announced that there are now over 3,000 games available on the Play Games PC store on devices running Windows. The vast games catalog includes popular titles like Asphalt 9: Legends, BADLAND, Clash Of Clans, and Clash Royale. Apart from these games, Google has added more features to Play Games PC. To find the game of your choice, Google has added a search bar to the top right corner of the All Games section. Clash Of Clans and Clash Royale games are also coming to Chromebooks “in the coming weeks.”
Play Games PC app also has filters now to sort through games. There are several filters, including Action, Adventure, and Arcade. Moreover, some apps, such as Asphalt 9: Legends and BADLAND, get support for gaming console controllers. Supported controllers include PS5 DualSense, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X controllers. This brings one more way to play games on your Galaxy Book laptop.
Google has also added support for 4K resolution for higher-end games. You can choose through various screen resolution options by clicking Shift + Tab. With these new features, it looks like Google is getting serious about expanding the availability of Android games to more platforms.
