Samsung is planning to release the next Android 14 One UI 6.0 beta update for Galaxy S21 users next week. Samsung is running the One UI 6.0 beta program for a number of flagship Galaxy phones and a few mid-range ones right now, and while the Galaxy S23 series has received nearly 10 beta updates, things are still in their infancy as far as the other devices are concerned.
The Galaxy S22 series has received two One UI 6 beta updates till now, and so has the Galaxy S21 lineup. And Samsung says it plans to release the third beta for both lineups next week. The Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra will get the update first, and the S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra will follow after that.
Samsung says the third Galaxy S21 beta will fix issues with the camera's Single Take mode that plague the current build of the software. It doesn't provide any other details, but the update will likely include other fixes as well, in addition to improvements to performance and stability improvements.
As usual, we'll let you know once Samsung rolls out a new beta update for the Galaxy S21 series and any other phones for which One UI 6 is in public testing. But if you're a Galaxy S23 owner, you might want to start preparing your phone for the stable version of Android 14 and One UI 6, which is expected to roll out soon.
