Samsung has been rolling out the November 2023 update for many Galaxy devices over the last two weeks. For most devices, the update has only included the November 2023 security patch, which fixes more than 60 security vulnerabilities that affected the base Android OS and Samsung's software and a few that could have been exploited on devices powered by some Exynos processors.
The November update has now been released for the Galaxy Z Flip 3. As expected, only security fixes are part of the package. The update is available in Europe and in the USA, with firmware versions F711BXXS6FWK2 and F711U1UES5GWK1 accompanying it depending on the region you're in.
More markets should get the same update soon. Once it's available in your country, you will be able to download it from the phone's Settings » Software update menu. Full-sized firmware can be downloaded from our archives for installation via a Windows PC and a USB-C cable.
If you're using the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 beta on your Galaxy Z Flip 3, it should already have the November security patch. Samsung released the second One UI 6 beta firmware for the Z Flip 3 a week ago and could release the stable update before the end of November according to a recently published timeline on Samsung's forums.
However, according to that timeline, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 should already be on the stable One UI 6 firmware, so we wouldn't get our hopes up. Samsung still isn't done rolling out One UI 6 to the Galaxy S23 series in all markets and probably won't be able to bring the update to other eligible devices before December.
Android 14 will not be the last major operating system upgrade for the Galaxy Z Flip 3. The device will receive Android 15 and One UI 7.0 next year and should also get One UI 7.1 and One UI 7.1.1 before it stops being eligible for feature updates.
