The Galaxy S22 received the stable Android 14 update last week, but back then, the update was only available in Europe. A few days later, the update went live in the US. Now, the stable Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update is live for the Galaxy S22 series in more countries, including India.
Galaxy S22 gets stable Android 14 (One UI 6.0) update in India for beta testers
The stable Android 14 update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra is now live in India. The update comes with firmware version S90xEXXU7DWK4, but it is currently available only to those users who have been using the beta version of One UI 6.0. So, the update has a download size of around 446.65MB. However, we expect the update to go live for all Galaxy S22 users within a couple of days.
If you have been using the beta version of One UI 6.0 on your Galaxy S22 series, you can check for the new update by opening the Settings app and navigating to Software update » Download and install. Once the firmware file is available in our database, you can download it and flash your phone manually.
One UI 6.0 brings dozens of new features and design improvements, and some of them include a brand-new Quick Panel layout, a new font, new designs for all the emojis, and more font and placement options for the lock screen clock widget.
