Samsung helped lift cloud gaming off the ground with its smart TVs. The Gaming Hub app puts gaming at the fingertip of millions of Samsung smart TV users around the world, and all they need to start playing is a gaming controller and a subscription to one of the supported cloud gaming services.
Gaming Hub on Samsung TVs offers access to cloud gaming services such as GeForce Now, Utomik, Blacknut, and Xbox Game Pass.
Speaking of subscriptions, Microsoft has a great offer on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. New Xbox Game Pass customers who haven't used the service can try it out for 14 days in exchange for just $1. The monthly fee is usually $16.99.
In other words, if your TV supports Gaming Hub and you've always wondered if cloud gaming is worth it, you can now pay only $1 for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and start playing dozens of great games on your Samsung TV for the next two weeks.

Most Samsung TVs released in 2022 or later support Gaming Hub. But it is worth noting that you don't necessarily need Gaming Hub to play Xbox Game Pass games on your Samsung TV.
If your Samsung TV is older than 2022, you might be able to download the dedicated Xbox app from the Samsung TV app store and take advantage of this $1 offer.
The next and final step is connecting a controller
Assuming you can subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on your Samsung TV for $1, the next and final step is to set up your controller.
Most wired and wireless controllers should work with Gaming Hub and Xbox Game Pass. This includes Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Xbox Elite Wireless Series 2, Xbox Adaptive controller, PlayStation DualShock 4 and DualSense controllers, and others. Refer to this page for more details.
As for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate cloud gaming, the platform is compatible with many controllers from Microsoft and other companies. You can visit this page for a (non-exhaustive) list of controllers that should work with the platform.
Finally, you should know that Samsung recommends connecting your smart TV to the internet using a 5GHz Wi-Fi network or via LAN, with speeds of 20 Mbps or higher. So, if you're unsure if your internet connection can deliver a comfortable gaming experience through Gaming Hub, this $1 Xbox Game Pass Ultimate deal might be the best way to find out.
