Google first launched YouTube Premium and YouTube Music Premium in Australia and New Zealand. Since then, the company has expanded the two paid subscription services to many regions around the globe, making it available in a total of 100 countries.
Now, Google has launched YouTube Premium and YouTube Music Premium in 10 more countries: Algeria, Cambodia, Georgia, Ghana, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Laos, Tunisia, and Senegal (via 9To5Google). With that, the two paid subscription services are now available in a total of 110 countries.
YouTube Premium allows you to watch videos on YouTube without advertisements and offers additional features on the platform, such as background play and offline watching. It also comes bundled with YouTube Music Premium, a subscription that allows you to listen to songs on YouTube Music without advertisements. YouTube Premium starts at $13.99 per month in the US. If you just want to subscribe to YouTube Music Premium instead, you have to shell out $10.99 per month.
