Galaxy Buds 2 Pro has a new update in January 2024
The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro have just started getting a new update, but not all countries may get the update at once. It is usually a phased-out release, and if you have a Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, you can check if the update is available by opening the Galaxy Wearable app on your paired smartphone, heading to Earbuds settings » Earbuds software update, and tapping Download and install. This update brings improved stability to the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are Samsung's flagship wireless earbuds, and they were launched in mid-2022. They feature a dual-drive setup and three microphones in each earbud. They feature Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio and Auracast. The earbuds also feature AAC, SBC, and Samsung Seamless Codec HiFi. The earbuds also feature an IPX7 rating for water resistance. The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro also feature 360 Audio, ANC, Dolby Atmos, and automatic switching between Samsung devices.
It has been more than 1.5 years since Samsung launched the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, but it isn't expected to launch a newer model with the Galaxy S24 series this week. It is possible that the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro could be launched later this year alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
