Samsung introduced a new ViewFinity S6 (S65TC) monitor in Korea late last year. At the time of release, the company didn't reveal any details about global availability. Fortunately, it didn't take long for Samsung to launch the monitor in more markets, and the new 34-inch ViewFinity S6 is now available in the USA.
The Ultra-wide curved monitor retails for $799. Here's the kicker: Samsung is already offering the ViewFinity S6 at a discount of $100 to lure in new buyers.
This deal brings the price down to $699 outright or $29.17 a month through Samsung Financing.
The monitor has a panel with a WQHD resolution, 350 nits of brightness, a 100Hz refresh rate with AMD FreeSync, and HDR10 support.
The display sits on a height-adjustable stand that can swivel and tilt, allowing you to attain the ideal viewing angle. This stand doesn't cost extra.
A monitor for PC and laptop users
Many Samsung monitors nowadays have smart TV capabilities built-in and ship with a SolarCell remote. Those monitors are great for customers who want a multi-functional solution, but those extra functions also add to the price.
The 34-inch ViewFinity S65TC is a pure 4K desktop monitor with no access to TV apps and Tizen OS. It has one HDMI 2 port, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, three USB 3.0 ports, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports (one downstream, the other upstream).
The monitor supports daisy chaining, meaning you can connect a second ViewFinity S6 to the first rather than the original video source. It also offers KVM switch functionality, which lets you control two sources on your monitor with one keyboard and mouse.
