Apple is developing six new iPad models. Among them are new versions of the iPad Air and the iPad Pro. Along with those tablets, the company is also developing a new MacBook Air. Now, according to a new report from Mark Gurman on Bloomberg, Apple will launch these devices by the end of March. The analyst also claims that the company has started the production of these tablets and laptops in also that the production is in full swing.
What will the new iPad Air and iPad Pro offer?
The new iPad Air is expected to come in two screen sizes, 10.9-inch and 12.9-inch, and the new iPad Pro is also expected to come in two sizes, 11-inch and 13-inch. While the two iPad Air variants will feature LCD panels and the Apple M2 chipset, the two iPad Pro models will come with OLED displays, a first in the history of iPads, and the AppleM3 chipset.
The first beta of iOS 17.4 reveals that Apple will also launch new accessories for the upcoming tablets, including new Apple Pencils and Magic Keyboards. It also suggests that the new iPad Pro models could feature a landscape-oriented Face ID camera, a feature that people have been requesting from Apple for a very long time.
New MacBook Air to come with minimal upgrades
As for the new MacBook Air, it is said to come in two screen sizes, 13-inch and 15-inch, just like the existing model. At the moment, all we know is that the the new laptops will come with the Apple M3 chipset, which will bring hardware-accelerated ray-tracing and support for Wi-Fi 6E among other things. The rest of the specs are expected to remain the same.
