Samsung is expected to launch two affordable versions of the Galaxy A15 5G: Galaxy F15 5G and Galaxy M15 5G. The phones might launch soon, as they are being spotted in several regulatory databases. The Galaxy M15 5G has been spotted in the FCC certification database, revealing its battery capacity and fast charging speed.
Galaxy M15 5G specifications revealed via FCC certification
A new Samsung smartphone with model number SM-M156B/DSN has received certification (via MySmartPrice) from the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) with the FCC ID A3LSMM156B. The testing for the FCC certification was done in the first three weeks of December 2023. It will be launched as the Galaxy M15 5G, and it has 25W fast charging (9V & 2.77A). The phone has a 6,000mAh battery (5,880mAh rated), as revealed in a previous report. The phone has two 2G bands (850 and 1900), three 3G bands (B2, B4, and B5), eight 4G LTE bands (B2, B4, B5, B12, B17, B26, B41, and B66), and two 5G bands (5G NR N5 and N66).
The Galaxy M15 5G also features GNSS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth, and NFC. The certification documents also reveal that the phone has a microSD card slot and FM radio. Previous leaks and reports have revealed that the phone has a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It runs Android 14 out of the box and will get a promise of four major Android OS updates and five years of security updates. Similar to the Galaxy A15 5G, the Galaxy M15 5G
Similar to the Galaxy A15 5G and the Galaxy F15 5G, the Galaxy M15 5G is expected to feature a 50MP primary rear camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, it could have a 13MP selfie camera. The device features the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB internal storage. It has a fingerprint reader, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone port.
