Xbox Cloud Gaming is one of the major game streaming services. However, there was no information about how many people use the service or how much they use it. Well, now Microsoft has revealed some information on the matter.

In an interview with Game File, the Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, revealed that within the total number of hours an Xbox game is played, the number of hours that title was played on Xbox Cloud Gaming now makes up a double-digit percentage. That means the number of hours an Xbox game is played on Xbox Cloud Gaming makes up for at least 10% of the total number of hours that title is played on Xbox.

That means people are using Microsoft’s game streaming service quite a lot. One of the reasons so many people are using Xbox Cloud Gaming is that the company is offering vouchers to try the service for free with many products, especially Windows laptops. Furthermore, Phil reveals that the majority of people are accessing Xbox Cloud Gaming from Android tablets, Chromebooks, and smart TVs.

Last year, Microsoft also suggested that the company is thinking about offering access to Xbox Cloud Gaming for free in exchange for showing advertisements on the platform. That could attract a whole lot of people to the gaming platform.
