Starting today, Samsung is rolling out One UI 6.1 to high-end smartphones and tablets. While the company is busy with that, it hasn’t forgotten about releasing security updates to mid-range and entry-level devices. The South Korean tech giant is rolling out the March 2024 security patch the carrier-locked and carrier-unlocked variants of the Galaxy A32 5G and the carrier-unlocked variant of the Galaxy A52 5G for the US.
Starting with the Galaxy A32, the version of the new firmware for the carrier-locked variant is A326USQSDDXC2, and that for the carrier-unlocked model is A326U1UESDDXC2. As for the Galaxy A52, the firmware build number of the carrier-unlocked variant will change to A526U1UESCFXC6 after the update. The March 2024 security patch fixes a total of 45 security vulnerabilities. Expect Samsung to release the update for the carrier-unlocked version of the Galaxy A52 5G in the next couple of days.
As usual, you can get the update by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install. If you don’t see the update after doing that, then it means the new firmware isn’t available for your device yet, as Samsung might be rolling it out in phases. In that case, you will have to wait for a few more hours/days to get it. If you don’t want to wait for Samsung to offer it over-the-air, you can download it from our database.
