Jewel, a retail complex inside Singapore Changi Airport, has become a major tourist attraction over the last couple of years, thanks to its beautiful nature-inspired theme and its centerpiece, The Rain Vortex, which is the world’s largest indoor waterfall. With Singapore being a tourist destination and many people around the world visiting there, Jewel has become an excellent place for brands to showcase their technological prowess to the international audience. Well, Samsung has also now marked its presence at Jewel.
On Thursday Samsung opened a TV experience zone in Singapore Changi Airport’s Jewel where people can experience the newest and greatest TVs from the South Korean tech giant. Along with inaugurating the TV experience zone, Samsung also held an event there to unveil the company’s 2024 lineup of Neo QLED and QD-OLED TV models.
The flagship model in this year’s Neo QLED lineup is the Q900D. According to Samsung, it is the thinnest 8K TV on the market. It features a 240Hz variable refresh rate (VRR), which the brand claims is the highest refresh rate in an 8K TV. On the other hand, the flagship model in this year’s OLED TV lineup is the S95D, which features a ground-breaking anti-reflective coating/surface for a glare-free viewing experience.
Furthermore, in collaboration with the Singapore Heritage Committee, Samsung unveiled 10 works of modern Singaporean art that people can access on their Samsung TVs from the Samsung Art Store in Singapore.
