Samsung has released a new software update to the international variant of the Galaxy A52s. It brings the April 2024 security patch that fixes 44 security issues. The new firmware carries the version A528BXXS7FXC8. At the moment, the company is rolling out the software update in many countries in Europe and South America, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain, and the UK. It should release the firmware in other regions soon.
When Samsung makes the new firmware available for your Galaxy A52s, your device will notify you about it. If it does not, you can check for the update manually by going to Settings » Software update » Download and install. If you like, you could also download the firmware from our database and install it manually using Odin but we recommend you to stick with OTA software updates as it is a safer method to get new firmware.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A52s 5G in August 2021 and committed to offer security updates to the device for four years. That means after August 2025, there’s no guarantee that the company will provide security updates to the phone. If that’s making you think about upgrading to a new device, the Galaxy A55 will be a perfect upgrade for you.
