A One UI 6.1 issue concerning the Secure Folder feature will be fixed with an upcoming update. On devices that have been updated to One UI 6.1, some users have complained that they can no longer delete their Secure Folder profile.
For those unaware, Secure Folder is a private space in which you can save media and files that you don't want anyone to see. After the folder is set up, it can be toggled on and off from the quick panel menu and can also be deleted if you decide you no longer want to use it.
However, on One UI 6.1, the deletion option isn't working for some users. This bug is caused by a Google security policy that Samsung implemented in the latest version of One UI. Samsung seems to suggest that an update to the Secure Folder app that fixes the bug is out on the Galaxy Store already, though that isn't actually the case.
But Samsung has officially acknowledged the issue, so a fix should arrive soon. Until then, you can just keep Secure Folder turned off using its quick panel toggle, or if you can't wait for the bugfix, you can manually delete any data stored in Secure Folder for the time being.
