Toy manufacturing and entertainment company Mattel has partnered with Samsung to launch three channels on TV Plus in the USA. These first three TV channels Mattel has launched on Samsung's FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming) platform include Barbie and Friends, Hot Wheels Action, and Mattel Jr.

In its recent announcement, Samsung stated that Mattel's decision to launch its first Samsung TV Plus FAST channels “is a testament to the service and audiences we have built.”

The three channels broadcast 24/7. Barbie and Friends is a channel focused on Barbie and doll friends and fashion; Hot WHeels Action features Hot Wheels races, He-Man and Skeletor battles, as well as Thomas & Friends; and Mattel Jr. broadcasts kid-friendly content, including all of Fisher Price's characters, Kipper the dog, and Pingu the adorable Penguin.

Other shows and themes offered through the three Samsung TV Plus channels are Masters of the Universe, American Girl, Matchbox, and Monster High.

Global Head of Mattel Television Studios, Michelle Mendelovitz, said “We are pleased to partner with Samsung TV Plus to advance Mattel's content strategy and provide audiences with a premium viewing experience.”

The new Mattel channels are available on Samsung TV Plus for TVs, Galaxy devices, and on the web.
