Last month, Samsung released version 25.0.0.41 of Samsung Internet for Galaxy smartphones and tablets. It brought persistent menu bars as well as bug fixes and stability improvements. However, this version of the web browser has a serious issue.
On Reddit, a post from Valuable_Air580 claims that the latest version of Samsung Internet doesn’t support Bitwarden, a password manager. It means that people can’t use Bitwarden in the web browser to fill in usernames, passwords, payment details, names, addresses, mobile numbers, email IDs, and other such details on websites.
Another user on Reddit, who goes by JoeMac66, confirmed that it is indeed the case. From what we could gather, Samsung Internet isn't showing the option to use Bitwarden when you click on a field. As such, people using Bitwarden will now have to manually copy those details from the password manager and paste them into the web browser.
This could most likely be a bug and we hope that Samsung quickly offers a fix for the problem with an update. On a related note, last month, Samsung released a new version of Samsung Internet Beta which allows you to take screenshots in the Secret Mode.
