Samsung is busy releasing One UI 6.1 to eligible Galaxy smartphones and tablets, which brings many new features, including Galaxy AI. However, that hasn’t made the company delay the rollout of the May 2024 security patch.

Samsung has now started rolling out the May 2024 security patch, which fixes 45 security issues, to the carrier-unlocked variants of the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra in the United States, which carry model numbers SM-S911U1, SM-916U1, and SM-918U1 respectively.

The latest update for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra changes their firmware versions to S911U1UES3CXD7, S916U1UES3CXD7, and S918U1UES3CXD7 respectively. To get the update, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. These firmware files are now also available in our database.
