Samsung has launched a cute and furry case for the Galaxy Buds lineup in South Korea. It is called the Galaxy Buds Fubao Case, and it celebrates Fu Bao, the first giant panda born in Korea to two pandas—Ai Bao and Le Bao—that were leased from China.
Galaxy Buds Fubao Case celebrates South Korea's first giant panda
After the popularity of the Huibao and Ruibao Cases (now sold out) in South Korea, Samsung has launched its third Galaxy Buds case, which celebrates the country's famous pandas. The Galaxy Buds Fubao Case is made to resemble Fu Bao, South Korea's first giant panda. It is priced at KRW 44,000 ($33) and can be purchased through Samsung.com and the Samsung Gangnam store.
The Galaxy Buds Fubao Case features the Furongji (Fubao + Nurungji) color, which appears after the panda rolls on the ground. The case has a furry texture and also features the panda's furry ears on the top, resulting in a comfortable grip. This case is compatible with the Galaxy Buds Pro, Galaxy Buds 2, Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, and Galaxy Buds FE.
Samsung will also sell the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro Fubao Pack, which bundles the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and the Fubao Case together for KRW 196,000 ($143). It will be available on May 24, 2024, from Samsung.com.

The company also plans to sell the Galaxy Buds Bao Family Case Pack, which combines the Fubao Case, Huibao Case, and Ruibao Case in a single pack. This pack also features illustrations to offer details on the three giant pandas. It is priced at KRW 129,800 ($96) and will be available from Samsung.com starting May 24, 2024.
Samsung also plans to launch four new cases in South Korea to celebrate two Disney movies, Inside Out 2 and Monsters Inc. A package consisting of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and these Disney-themed cases will be sold at a discount.
