One of the most unique mid-range Galaxy smartphones launched by Samsung in 2023, the Galaxy Jump 3, is making its way up the software ladder this week. The Galaxy Jump 3 has received the One UI 6.1 update two months after it was updated to Android 14 and One UI 6.0.
The Galaxy Jump 3 (or the Galaxy M44 as it initially known as) came out late last year with the Snapdragon 888 chip under the hood, making it the most powerful mid-range phone at the time. In fact, it's still the most powerful mid-range phone from Samsung, as even the Galaxy A55 can't match the performance offered by the Galaxy Jump 3.
The Galaxy Jump 3 is exclusive to Korea, and that's exactly where the phone is getting One UI 6.1. The update sports the build number M446KKSU3CXE1 and includes the May 2024 security patch. You can download it by navigating to your phone's Settings » Software update menu and hitting the Download and install button or from our firmware archives.
While the Galaxy Jump 3 is powered by the same Snapdragon chip as the Galaxy S21, it is not eligible for any Galaxy AI features. You're not missing out on much, however. Even the Galaxy S21 lineup doesn't get any AI feature except Google's Circle to Search, which is just a fancier version of the internet giant's Lens app that you can download from the Google Play Store.
The Jump 3 does get pretty much everything else that's new in One UI 6.1. The full changelog is available on Samsung's official website.
