Yesterday, Samsung launched the 2024 model year of monitors in the Odyssey OLED, Smart Monitor, and Viewfinity lineups globally. Today, Samsung has launched some of those monitors in India. Let’s check them out.
Samsung has launched the 2024 versions of the Odyssey OLED G6, Smart Monitor M8, Smart Monitor M7, Smart Monitor M5, Viewfinity S8, Viewfinity S7, and Viewfinity S6 monitors in India. The company launched these models at Samsung Live, a show where it launches new products and holds promotional events for its products.
Samsung has launched a total of nineteen SKUs across those models. Below are the sizes, model numbers, and prices of all those monitors for India:

2024 Odyssey OLED G6
The 2024 version of the Odyssey OLED G6 brings four improvements over the 2023 model of the monitor.
The first improvement is a newer processor, the NQ8 AI Gen3. It offers better image upscaling along with faster UI performance. The second improvement is the addition of the Samsung OLED Safeguard+ technology. It has a heat pipe to reduce the temperature of the monitor to prevent burn-in.
The third improvement is the ability to detect static content on the display, such as logos and taskbars, and reduce their brightness to prevent burn-in. The fourth and last major improvement is the addition of the OLED Glare Free technology. It is a special coating that reduces the glare on the display.

2024 Smart Monitor M8, M7, and M5
The 2024 version of the Smart Monitor M8 brings four significant improvements over the 2023 model of the monitor. The first is the NQM AI processor which adds 4K AI upscaling to the monitor. The second is the Active Voice Amplifier (AVA) Pro which uses “AI technology to analyze background noise and optimize dialogue” to deliver “every word with crystal clarity through advanced audio processing.”
The third is Solar Remote, which has the ability to charge from any light source. It is the same remote that Samsung offers with its high-end TV models. The fourth is 360 Audio, which offers spatial surround sound when you use Galaxy Buds. The fifth is new smart features, including Workout Tracker. It shows workout information from your Galaxy Watch on the monitor to make it easier for you to track the data.
The 2024 version of the Smart Monitor M7 gets the Solar Remote, Gaming Hub, and Workout Tracker over the 2023 model of the monitor. Whereas, the 2024 version of the Smart Monitor M5 gets Samsung Gaming Hub and Workout Tracker over the 2023 model of the monitor.
2024 Viewfinity S8, S7, and S6
Coming to the Viewfinity series, the 2024 variants of the Viewfinity S8, Viewfinity S7, and Viewfinity S6 offer stands that are easier to mount to the display panel than those offered by their predecessors. In addition to that, the Viewfinity S6 gets a stand that is adjustable for height, swivel, and pivot, and a USB Type-C port, all of which are features that its predecessor didn’t offer.
