Everything about the Galaxy S21 FE has just leaked

The Galaxy S21 FE is back in the headlines, and it's all thanks to the mother lode of all leaks. Virtually everything imaginable about the Galaxy S21 FE has just leaked (via WinFuture), so here's all you need to know before the phone becomes official at CES in January.

Samsung is using the Snapdragon 888 chipset for the Galaxy S21 FE, and a 6.4-inch flat Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The panel is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.

The Galaxy S21 FE lacks expandable storage

Samsung will reportedly offer the Galaxy S21 FE with two storage options: 6GB of RAM + 128GB ROM and 8GB + 256GB. Sadly though, according to the source, this Fan Edition device has done away with expandable storage, so users will be stuck to either 128GB or 256GB.

The phone has an aluminum frame and a polycarbonate back panel. It's backed by an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The phone is also equipped with an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and has a 4,500mAh battery.

Other specs worth mentioning include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC. USB-C, and compatibility with Samsung DEX. The phone measures 155.7 x 74.5 x 7.9mm and weighs 170 grams. It lacks a 3.5mm headphone port.

Galaxy S21 FE cameras

The Infinity-O display cutout is home to a 32MP selfie camera with fixed focus and an f/2.2 aperture.

The back panel is where things get a little bit more interesting. The Galaxy S21 FE has a 12MP main camera with dual pixel autofocus, OIS and an f/1.8 aperture. It also features a 12MP ultra-wide f/2.2 sensor. The third camera is an 8MP telephoto lens with autofocus, OIS, an f/2.4 aperture, and 3x zoom.

This is essentially last year's camera setup, and Samsung's going by the old adage “if it ain't broke, don't fix it.” The Galaxy S20 FE certainly has a competent camera combo for the price, and so will the S21 FE.

Galaxy S21 FE colors, prices, and leaked press renders

In Europe, Samsung is said to be planning to release the Galaxy S21 FE in four color options: graphite, olive, lavender, and white. Though, as always, color availability can differ by region, since the Galaxy S21 FE won't get the same color treatment as the Galaxy S20 FE did last year.

As for prices, the Galaxy S21 FE will start around 749 euros, and the 256GB model will cost 819 euros. However, these prices haven't been set in stone yet and are subject to change.

The phone's exterior design should be no mystery at this point, but here's a new gallery of leaked press renders that Samsung is planning to use.
