Samsung has released its latest security update to its rugged tablet, the Galaxy Tab Active 3. The new update is available in the UAE, and it could roll out to more markets over the next few days.
The latest software update for the Galaxy Tab Active 3 comes with firmware version T575XXU3BUL2. It includes the December 2021 security patch that fixes dozens of privacy and security-related vulnerabilities. We don't have the official changelog of the update just yet, but it could also include device stability improvements.
If you are a Galaxy Tab Active 3 user in the UAE, you might have already received the new update. If you haven't received the update yet, you can check for it manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
The South Korean firm had launched the Galaxy Tab Active 3 in late 2020 with Android 10-based One UI 2.5. The rugged tablet received the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update earlier this year. It will get at least one more Android OS update sometime next year.
