A few weeks ago, Samsung had released the stable version of One UI 4.0 to the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in South Korea. However, the update was filled with critical bugs, and it forced the company to halt the update and it was never released widely. Now, the company has started rolling out the update in more markets.
Samsung has released the stable One UI 4.0 update to the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in some European markets, including the Netherlands. The update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 comes with firmware version F711xxxS2BUL6, while the Galaxy Z Fold 3's update bears firmware version F926xxxS1BUL6. In South Korea, the updates have firmware versions ending BULC. These new updates also include the December 2021 security patch.
If you are a Galaxy Z Flip 3 or Galaxy Z Fold 3 user in Europe, you can check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and clicking on Download and install. Once these firmware files show up in our firmware database, you can download them and flash them manually.

The One UI 4.0 update is based on Android 12, and it brings a revamped UI design, improved privacy and security, newer stock apps, and new widget designs. The update features quick setting toggles to instantly cut off camera and microphone access across the system. It also shows camera and mic usage indicators and notifies users when an app copies data from the clipboard.
Other features that debuted with One UI 4.0 include resizeable Picture-in-Picture window, improved Samsung Health and Device Care UI design, more features for Bixby and Bixby Routines, enhanced Dark Mode and AoD, Color Palette feature, lock screen widgets, and a new widget picker design.
