Unpacked 2022 finally gave us what we were all waiting for: an official look at the Galaxy S22 series. Thanks to Samsung, we had the opportunity to spend some time with these devices at Unpacked before they'll go on sale, and as always, we're sharing our experience with you through a few videos on our YouTube channel. The Galaxy S22 series consists of three models: the base S22, the Galaxy S22+, and the S22 Ultra. You all probably know this by now, but what you may not be aware of is that all three models use an Armor Aluminum frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ at the front and back.
This new flagship trio marks Samsung's return to form, at least regarding the exterior design. Nevertheless, they're also incredibly powerful and versatile — especially the Galaxy S22 Ultra, thanks to the embedded S Pen.
The Galaxy S22 lineup is available in a multitude of colors, which you can check out in the videos below. They have a matte finish and look exquisite. The company will also sell a few exclusive colors through its online shop, dubbed Sky Blue, Graphite, Red, Violet, and Cream.
Other than that, these new phones do feel great to the touch, but I suppose you'll have to take our word for it or try to imagine how these phones feel like by watching our hands-on videos.
Finally, prices start at £769, which puts the Galaxy S21 FE in an even more awkward light. As we've warned you a few times before, the Fan Edition device came too late, so we're hoping that not too many people rushed into buying it so close to the launch of the Galaxy S22. After all, the base S22 model costs only £69 more than the S21 FE, but the difference in build quality and features is probably worth a lot more.
