Earlier today, the Indian pricing of the Galaxy S22 series was leaked. The report had revealed that Samsung could launch only a few color variants of its new high-end smartphones, at least initially. Now, a new report says that more color variants could follow at a later stage.
It is being reported that Samsung will launch Black, Green, and White color variants of the Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy S22+. The Pink Gold version of the two non-Ultra phones could be launched a few months down the line. The Galaxy S22 Ultra would initially be available in only two color variants: Phantom Black and Phantom White. The Phantom Green version could be launched later.
So, if you want the Galaxy S22/Galaxy S22+ in Pink Gold or the Galaxy S22 Ultra (which looks fantastic), you'll have to wait a bit.
The vanilla Galaxy S22 is said to carry a price tag of INR 69,900 (around $926) in India, while the base version of the Galaxy S22 Ultra could cost INR 1,09,900 (around $1,456). Samsung is yet to start accepting pre-bookings of the Galaxy S22 series and the Galaxy Tab S8 series.
Usually, Samsung launches Exynos versions of its high-end phones in India. However, this year will be different as the company has announced that it is bringing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 versions of the Galaxy S22 series, which has spiked the interest among many consumers.
