A few days ago, Samsung announced its new Galaxy Book laptop lineup during MWC 2022. Those laptops will soon go on pre-orders in Europe, South Korea, and North America. Now, it has been revealed that the laptops will be sold in India as well.
Amazon has announced on its website that the Galaxy Book 2 Pro and the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 will soon be available for purchase. Even Samsung's website for the Indian market has listed those two devices, confirming the upcoming launch. The South Korean tech giant had stopped selling laptops in the Indian market a few years ago. So, it's surprising to see the company launch its new laptops in the country.
The Galaxy Book 2 Pro and the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 feature Super AMOLED displays (but no high-refresh-rate displays), Intel's 12th Gen CPUs, and Windows 11. They come in 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch versions. The Galaxy Book 2 Pro has a conventional form factor, while the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 has a 360-degree hinge for a 2-in-1 design.
Samsung's new laptops feature improved webcams (Full HD vs 720p in earlier models). They also have additional features like Auto Framing, background blur, and clearer mics for better video calls and meetings. They have backlit keyboards, large trackpads with Windows Precision drivers, Thunderbolt 4 ports, Wi-Fi 6E, a fingerprint reader, and a microSD card slot.
The Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 comes with a bundled S Pen, which can be used to jot down notes, draw, and much more. Both laptops come in Intel Core i5 and Core i7 CPU options, 8GB/16GB/32GB RAM, and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage variants. They also have a microSD card slot.
On top of Windows 11, Galaxy Book 2 Pro and Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 run One UI Book 4 software. Samsung has implemented various Galaxy ecosystem services in these laptops, including Bixby, Private Share, Quick Share, Samsung Gallery, Samsung Notes, Second Screen, Smart Switch, and SmartThings
