The Galaxy S20 FE 5G started getting the One UI 4.1 update four days ago. Now, the feature-rich update has reached the LTE variants of the Galaxy S20 FE in various Asian and European countries. The new software also brings the latest security patch to the smartphone.
The latest software update for the Galaxy S20 FE (SM-G780F) comes with firmware version G780FXXS8DVC2. The update is currently available in Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Nordic countries, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Southeast Europe, Spain, Switzerland, the Baltic region, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, the UK, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
For the Snapdragon 865 version of the Galaxy S20 FE 4G, the new update has firmware version G780GXXU3CVC2 in Malaysia and G780GXXS3BVC2 in South America. The update includes the March 2022 security patch that fixes over 50 security vulnerabilities.
If you are a Galaxy S20 FE 4G user in any of the countries mentioned above, you can check for the latest update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Galaxy S20 FE 4G One UI 4.1 features
The One UI 4.1 update brings multiple new features, including Smart Widgets, Google Duo Live Sharing, Grammarly-powered writing suggestions on Samsung Keyboard. It gives you the ability to capture portrait images in low-light conditions. The improved Gallery app has Reflection Eraser and Shadow Eraser. Samsung has improved Color Palette and included Smart Suggestions, customizable virtual RAM, and the ability to turn off GOS (Game Optimization Service).
Samsung has also added the ability to adjust the audio level between the left and right sides. Bixby Routines now supports the ability to change watch faces and some other settings on the Galaxy Watch 4 series. Quick Share now lets you share Wi-Fi network credentials with others and history edits for shared images and videos.
