Last week, Samsung released the April 2022 security update to the Exynos variants of the Galaxy S22 series. Now, the company has released the update to Snapdragon variants of the smartphones in various African and Asian countries.
The latest software update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with firmware version S90xEXXU1AVCJ. The update is rolling out in Afghanistan, Egypt, India, Iraq, Kenya, Lebanon, Malaysia, Morocco, Nepal, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, the Philippines, the UAE, Tunisia, Turkey, and Vietnam.
While the official changelog only mentions April 2022 security patch, bug fixes, stability improvements, and performance improvements, the update has a huge download size of around 1,500.37MB. Samsung may have fixed a lot of bugs with this update and improved the performance of its latest high-end smartphones.
If you are a Galaxy S22 series smartphone user in any of the countries mentioned above, you can now download the latest OTA software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
