Samsung has released a new software update to the Galaxy S20 FE 5G in the European market. It brings the latest security patch from the company. The latest update could reach more markets worldwide within the next few weeks.
The latest software update for the Galaxy S20 FE 5G comes with firmware version G781BXXU4FVC4. The update includes the April 2022 security patch that fixes over 88 privacy and security vulnerabilities. It could also bring general bug fixes and device stability improvements.
The new update is currently rolling out in Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, the Baltic region, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, the Nordic region, and the UK.
You can check for the latest update for your Galaxy S20 FE 5G by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually. Don't forget to backup your data, though.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 FE 5G in 2020 with Android 10-based One UI 2.5 onboard. The smartphone received the Android 11-based One UI 3 update in early 2021 and the Android 12-based One UI 4 update in January 2022.
