Samsung has released a new security update to the Galaxy A52. The May 2022 security update is currently rolling out in a few European countries, and we expect it to expand to more markets in the coming week.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A52 has firmware version A525FXXS4BVE1. The update is rolling out in Germany, Kazakhstan, Russia, the Caucasus region, and Ukraine. The May 2022 security patch fixes dozens of known security vulnerabilities found in Galaxy smartphones.
If you are a Galaxy A52 user in any of the countries mentioned above, you can download the latest software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung had launched the Galaxy A52 in early 2021 with Android 11-based One UI 3.1. The smartphone received the Android 12-based One UI 4 update earlier this year. It will get two more Android OS updates in the future.
