SmartThings Home Life will launch before the end of June and will reach 97 countries. So, chances are that if you are reading this, you will have access to SmartThings Home Life later this month.
A new firmware update is coming to Family Hub refrigerators
Along with this new SmartThings addition that's set to go live by the end of June, Samsung also announced a new firmware update for its Family Hub refrigerators, which should roll out in July.
The upcoming firmware update promises to give users access to more entertainment and smart features for the kitchen.
Smart Reorders will be a part of this new update and will allow customers in the United States to order and replace water filters with ease, as long as they're Amazon Prime customers.
The upcoming firmware update will also add Samsung TV Plus to the Family Hub refrigerator range, although only in South Korea and the United States.
Dual AI Voice Assistant is also coming with this new update. This feature enables Amazon Alexa and Samsung Bixby on a single device, though again, the functionality is limited to Canada and the USA. However, Samsung says it will launch Dual AI Voice Assistant in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and India in the third quarter of 2022.
