Samsung is adding the Galaxy A33 5G to a dozen other devices that have received the June 2022 security patch. The low-range Galaxy A33 5G is now getting the June security update in Vietnam, with more markets to follow soon.
Galaxy A33 5G customers can tell this new update apart from all the others by looking for firmware number A336EDXU2AVF2. The June 2022 security patch addresses issues concerning Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, the QR code scanner, and others.
And aside from these security fixes, the new firmware update should also improve the stability of the camera, says the official changelog.
The Galaxy A33 5G has a 48MP primary camera and three other sensors for ultrawide (8MP), macro (5MP), and depth (2MP) photography. The phone runs Android 12 and has the One UI 4.1 camera app UI.
Customers in Vietnam — and soon other markets — should be able to download this new update, firmware number A336EDXU2AVF2, after opening the Settings app on their Galaxy A33 5Gs, accessing “Software update,” and tapping “Download and install.”
