The Snapdragon version of the Galaxy S20 FE (LTE) has started getting the latest software update. Samsung has now released the June 2022 security update to the smartphone. The Galaxy S20 FE (Exynos 990) and Galaxy S20 FE 5G received this update a few days ago.
The latest software update for the Galaxy S20 FE (Snapdragon 865 LTE) has firmware version G780GXXU3CVE7 and is rolling out in Australia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. The June 2022 security patch fixes 66 privacy and security vulnerabilities. The update might also bring general bug fixes and stability improvements.
If you are a Galaxy S20 FE user in any of the countries mentioned above, you can download and install the latest software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung had launched the Snapdragon 865 version of the Galaxy S20 FE in 2021 after a severe chip shortage. The phone was launched with Android 11 on board and later received the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update. A few days ago, it received the One UI 4.1 update.
