Korea's top companies, including Samsung Electronics, are giving their full support to Busan, South Korea's 2nd most populous city, to be selected as the venue for the 2030 World Expo. Busan is going up against venues including Saudi Arabia's Riyadh, Italy's Rome, and Ukraine's Odesa. Samsung is going all out and has started displaying ads across multiple locations in Busan to support the bid for the 2030 Busan World Expo.
The company has installed digital signage videos, and exhibits in 23 different locations across Busan, which also includes the Samsung Digital Plaza in Busan and Samsung stores. Samsung is also promoting its bid for Busan during the 2022 exhibitions of the summer regular sale events nationwide. TV and newspaper ads are also helping to promote Samsung's cause.
Samsung has put up “A great transformation of the world, a voyage to a better future” as the theme for the 2030 Busan World Expo. The advertisements have the wide sea and Haeundae Marine City as the backdrop. Further, the ads also read, “Let's be together, in Busan! Hosting the 2030 Busan World Expo, Samsung Electronics will support you together.”
The company is fully confident that Busan will emerge as the venue of choice for the 2030 World Expo and they will carry out activities to support the bid at home and abroad.
