Google released the final beta version of Android 13 today. It means that the company will release the stable version of Android 13 within a matter of days. The operating system reached platform stability with the previous beta release, and the new release is meant for developers to check how their apps work on the latest version of the OS.

This beta version of Android 13 is meant for Pixel devices. Android smartphones from other brands, including Samsung, will soon start getting the beta version of Android 13 in the coming weeks. We reported a few days ago that the first public beta version of Android 13-based One UI 5.0 will be released to the Galaxy S22 series in the third week of July. After four or five beta updates, Samsung could release the final version of One UI 5.0 to its high-end devices.

Android 13 brings various new features, including notification permissions, a centralized photo picker, per-app language settings, themed app icons with Material You design, HDR video, Bluetooth LE Audio with LC3 codec, and MIDI 2.0 over USB. The update also improves app UI design and layout for big-screen devices like foldable phones and tablets.

On top of all these features, Samsung has added some more improvements. One UI 5.0 design was leaked a few days ago. It brings slightly revamped notifications with bigger icons, smoother animations and transitions, an updated pop-up dialog for permissions, a UWB (Ultra-Wideband) toggle, OCR support in Gallery and Samsung Keyboard, multitasking gestures, and the collaboration feature for Samsung Notes.
